The Islington (20th July), Reviewed by Mauro Pratesi

…Third up was a punk/heavy metal style band called, and it was stickered on the lead guitarist’s guitar, My Latest Failure. Screaming vocals from the man with the short beard, Chris. Pulsating drums from Jamie and sublime bass work by Andy. Really played the part of heavy metal man extremely well bouncing around the stage with ease avoiding all the wires. Gave it 110% easily. Seven songs from MLF – oh dear. That’s an unusual shortening of their name! Glad to see a set list and so happy to have received a CD, badge and sticker at the end from Chris. Got a set of signatures which was really chuffed about. For the record their songs were: ‘Lies’, ‘Selfish’, ‘Demons’, ‘Disappointment’, ‘Bad Dream’, ‘Voices’ and ‘Leech’. Just what I needed to blow away those Country cobwebs.
